1. Get a Clue is not based on a novel,though this movie is very similar to Harriet the Spy. First of all, Harriet M. Welsch in the Harriet the Spy want to be a writer, the main character in Get a Clue, Alexandra Gold, want to be a journalist. But this two job have two rules in common: observation and onalysis. Second, Harriet was only eleven years old, so she is more naively than Alexandra. Though Alexandra is naive too, but SHE’S ALREADY IN HIGH SCHOOL! Get a Clue is more complex than Harriet the Spy. And the last is that, the story of Harriet the Spy was in the 1960s,At that time, may not have camera. And the story of Get a Clue is happened in 2002. Ofcouse, Get a Clue and Harriet the Spy have many things in common, such as Harriet and Alexandra are rich people; they are all girls; and they all live in New Jersey……And most important thing is they are SPY……only smaller.
